This shot of colorful wallets was taken at the night market in Luang Prabang, Laos. Each of the vendors at the night market generally one sell one kind of item that they lay out on a blanket on the ground. This makes for some great pattern spotting.

Red paper lamps at the Patpong street market in Bangkok. For your future shopping reference: these lamps cost about US$2 each, easily fold up and make great gifts.

Spotted at a stall along the street in Tokyo. There’s this certain “Japanese cute” that these keychains remind me of.

There’s the this street in the old city of Hanoi that all the tombstone shops seem to operate out of. Since most seemed to be made for a specific person, I’m not sure if these are samples or if these are tombstones waiting to be picked up by the people who ordered them. In any case, this is the best pattern shot I could come up with there.

Another of my old city Hanoi patterns. These masks were hanging above a shop door.
