There’s the this street in the old city of Hanoi that all the tombstone shops seem to operate out of. Since most seemed to be made for a specific person, I’m not sure if these are samples or if these are tombstones waiting to be picked up by the people who ordered them. In any case, this is the best pattern shot I could come up with there.

Another of my old city Hanoi patterns. These masks were hanging above a shop door.

At the Monterey Aquarium in California. Their otter exhibit was the highlight of my visit there. But otters, while cute, don’t make for good pattern photos.

This was taken from a hiding hole in Kruger National Park, South Africa. This pond was so overgrown with algae that a turtle could crawl across the top of it.

Koh Tao, Thailand.
Taken atop a cliff on the northern part of the island. With the water so clear and so shallow, the patterns of the sea floor can emerge underneath.
